Cheesecake parfaits! Yes, it’s just what you think, I’m that obvious…An easy cheesecake in a glass without the fuss of arranging too much, it’s the best no-bake dessert!
These easy cheesecake parfaits are great for when you want a cheesecake, but don’t feel like making a whole thing. They’re the ideal size and make a fabulous easy no-bake dessert that you can enjoy during summer or any other season. Simply switch up the fruit!
Now, true I probably should have put a bit more effort to arrange these and make them look perfect, but I’m impatient. Besides, we all know nothing’s perfect in life, you have to take and savor it as it is. And a life lesson. You’re welcome.
But, let’s just get to the recipe for these simple cheesecake parfaits.
Cheesecake In A Glass Ingredients
Cream cheese or cottage cheese. You can use either one for this cheesecake in a glass recipe! A surprise, I know. So if you’re more into fitness and have made getting a ton of protein your life’s mission – choose cottage cheese. If you want your cheesecake creamier – choose the cream cheese. But, keep in mind that cottage cheese might have a bit of a more bitter aftertaste – didn’t bother me personally, but just wanted to share.
Yogurt. Add 1-2 tbsp of your favorite yogurt to lighten up the cheese.
Honey or Maple syrup. You can honestly use any other syrup you want, but those are my go-to choices for no-bake cheesecakes.
Cookies, crackers or granola. Here anything you have that isn’t overly sweet and not loaded with chocolate will work. You can make this fit your dietary needs by choosing gluten-free, paleo or even vegan. There are plenty of options out there. You can even prep something like this granola and the parfaits will work.
Fruit. Use whatever fruit you love or if you want – jelly. The cheesecake is sweet enough, and the fresh fruit adds some acidity and freshness for a great contrast and ultimately balance.
How To Make Cheesecake Parfaits
Making the cheesecake parfait recipe is super easy. Especially if you’re using cream cheese. Then you don’t even need a blender. Here’s what you do:
For Cheesecake Parfaits with Cream Cheese:
- Mix the cream cheese with yogurt and maple syrup or honey in a small bowl.
- Break up the cookies / crackers. If you wish you can mix them with some coconut oil or butter to resemble crust even more. That’s what I did, I used the base for these cookies and a tbsp of butter, but I didn’t find it necessary.
- Cut up fruit
- Arrange the parfaits starting with layer of cookies or crackers, the cream cheese, then fruit and then repeat once again.
- Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes and your easy no-bake dessert is ready!
